Moneybagg Yo Spits a Freestyle for Funkmaster Flex

Memphis MC Moneybagg Yo steps into the Hot 97 studio to be entry No. 64 in Flex's freestyle series and the CMG rapper holds it down.

With Drake's "Free Smoke" beat turned down lower than on a typical record, you can hear Yo's swag land somewhere in the middle of 21 Savage and Kevin Gates while still being unique. He switches up his flow constantly throughout the verse, jabbing with bully bars with lines like, "Heard they're gon' take my chain, word of mouth/Since I got fame, niggas feelin' left out/You wanna trap but you know what I'm bout/I'm with the gang, they're gon' air this bitch out."

But he also sneaks in some off-beat punchlines: "I ain't talkin' about Sprint but I run up that money fast/My niggas' light don't crash/Money, just security bags/Money, 50 on the Glock/If you run up then you a crash dummy." Yo also addresses any rumors that might be circulating about the idea that he has a ghostwriter, calling the gossip "pitiful."
