Nicki Minaj Gives a Preview of “Regret in Your Tears” Video

Roughly two weeks after offering up a glimpse of her new visual for "No Frauds," Nicki Minaj is back with a preview of her "Regret in Your Tears" video. She posted the preview on her Instagram page yesterday (April 18).

The new clip features dark, surreal imagery and a more eerie-sounding version of the "Regret in Your Tears" instrumental. In the video, which was helmed by fashion photographers Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, we can see Nicki being caressed by a lover in a bed that, for some reason, is surrounded by water. The music continues playing as a man lays back, submerged in water as the camera pans up to a haunting shot of a forest's skyline in the dead of night. The video honestly looks like something out of some sort of Sleepy Hollow-Inception hybrid, and we're definitely here for it.

"I'm feeling super generous today. Who's ready for the #RegretInYourTears💧 VIDEO shot by the legendary, ICONIC #MertAndMarcus ☺️👅 @mertalas you guys are the best to ever do it. ♥️ thank you. Love you," Nicki wrote in the caption for the clip. "'Regret in your Tears' is my fave song of all time. 😅🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 where should I do the premiere for this mini movie? LA? NEW YORK? MIAMI??? Di me lo."

There's no word on when this video, or the one for "No Frauds," will be released, but we definitely feel the vibes for both. Nicki dropped both tracks a little over a month ago. You can peep the "Regret in Your Tears" preview below.
