Cardi B is back on the microphone. The reality television star returns to spitting rhymes with the release of her "Red Barz" music video. The gritty visual pair up well with the Bronx native, who pulls no punches on the new track.

“Yeah, I skipped all them bitches in the lunch line/I put in work now I’m here at the front line/Ready for the bullshit, I swear it’s on my bloodline/Touch mine, get it sub slime, one time/Bump blind bitches quick then I dump mine/Pull up with the Gucci clutch spitting clutch rhymes/Flyer than a big thick B with a blood tine,” Cardi raps.

"Red Barz" is a great example of Cardi's skill as an MC. The Love & Hip Hop: New York cast member made her debut last year and seems to have built up her confidence after being a little nervous about jumping into the rap game.

"I was a little bit scared because you know, like, being a rapper has always been my dream so if nobody liked it, that would mean my dream is destroyed," she told XXL last summer. "And then there’s a lot of things for example, like, I was a little nervous because I know a lot of artists that come from Love & Hip Hop or any reality show, it’s hard for people to take them serious as an artist. I didn’t really want to put my music out there on [the show] even though they asked me a lot of times because when it comes to things like this, I plan it out."
