Talib Kweli and Styles P make an ill 1-2 punch. After announcing last month that they would be joining forces on a new project titled The Seven, the NYC MCs come through with the video for the EP's first single and final track "Last Ones."

"All my rap friends went crazy I'm the last one left/All my street homies crazy I'm the last one right," they rap on the chorus of the gritty cut, which is laced with boom-bap and heavy bass.

In the black-and-white visual, director by SUJ, captures city sights through a series of slow motion shots. In other scenes, The Lox member and the Brooklyn rapper spit heat in front of a black background.

While both MCs are true to the Golden Era, Kweli understands the meaningfulness of letting the youth movement thrive. "Music is emotional so people respond to music emotionally, and if it’s not something they grew up on, or something that’s not speaking their language that they relate to, they’re automatically dismissive of it without understanding the movement," Talib said during a recent interview with DJ Vlad. "They dismiss the movement along with the music. And you can’t dismiss the movement, because you gotta respect an artist getting their shit out there. You gotta respect it.”

Kweli and Ghost put out the tracklist for their forthcoming project yesterday (March 10). The seven-song EP will feature the likes of Sheek Louch, Jadakiss, NIKO IS, Common, Little Vic, Rapsody and Chris Rivers.
