Kodak Black knows he's spent too much of his life behind bars. The Florida rapper releases a timely video for his PnB Rock-assisted "Too Many Years" as he remains in jail for a probation violation.

The music video, directed by Dev Kamera, highlights Kodak's struggle to stay out of the system. The 2016 XXL Freshman rhymes about his loyalty to the streets while trying to make it in the music industry.

"I got codeine in my liver/I gave the judge a piece of me/I’m too street for the industry/But I think that’s where I need to be/Cause verbally, mentally and physically I keep that heat/Me and my brother fit in/We smoking one with PnB/Niggas say they fuck with me/But low key they be easing me/Bitches don’t mean shit to me/People tryna sentence me/How a younging posted on the street, gon’ call it Sesame/1K till the death of me, don’t put your life in jeopardy," Kodak raps.

Unfortunately for Kodak, he will not be getting out of prison this week. This past Friday (March 10), a judge set a continuation hearing for March 20 to decide whether Kodak is a danger to Broward County residents. Kodak's attorneys Gary Kollin and Allan Stephen Zamren claimed their client would be getting out soon after his arrest, but that was not the case.

Kodak's latest arrest has been a huge blow to his wallet. The "Can I" rapper's incarceration has reportedly costed him more than $300,000 from the gigs he's missed.
