Between XXXTENTACION's beef with Drake and Remy Ma's beef with Nicki Minaj, 2017 has had no shortage of confrontations between rappers. Now, it might be time for Freddie Gibbs versus Logic

Yesterday (March 29), the Indiana MC used his Instagram account to call out Logic for jacking his You Only Live 2Wice album cover and/or trailer concept. In the post, which features a video of Logic's new album artwork for his recently announced Everybody LP, Gibbs writes, "Dear @logic301 I hope you purchase my album on Friday due to the fact that you just blatantly jocked my shit. Blessings. #ESGN #YOL2 3/31."

Now, looking at both covers, it's clear that Logic and Freddie drew inspiration from European paintings. Here's the thing: Sam Spratt, who is the New York artist responsible for painting Logic's album cover, recently posted a video on Twitter saying he'd been working on the painting for six months. If that is, indeed, the case, Gibbs would've only been out of jail for one or two months when Spratt started working on Logic's album art. This looks more like a simple coincidence than anything else.

It's also true the trailers for both Logic and Gibbs' albums feature museum visitors witnessing their album covers, there's a good chance this is also simply a coincidence. You can see the two trailers, as well as Gibbs' IG post calling out Logic and Spratt's explanation for his painting, below. You Only Live 2Wice drops on tonight (March 30), while Everybody drops on May 5.
