Born dropped his Quavo collaboration "Hot Topic" just last week, and today the two premiere the song's video with XXL. Directed by Starlyn Javier, the video was shot on location in the Dominican Republic, with a gang of models on hand. Quavo takes care of the hook, hiding behind some fanned out cash and flashy wristwear.

In a statement provided to XXL, Born says he met Quavo at Quality Control Studios in Atlanta. The Migos member took care of business in a half hour. "He knocked out the hook in 30 minutes...straight freestyle," Born says. "He’s like 'Yah, that's how I do all my songs.' That got me instantly thinking how he made all these hits on the fly. We must’ve smoked 20 blunts, finished up the record and started talkin’ about shooting a video for the track on an island with pretty girls riding along with us on jet skis."

The jet ski shots didn't pan out as Born had hoped, but the Boston rapper says Quavo directed some scenes, as he did for the Migos "T-Shirt" video. Born says that Quavo offered him some friendly advice as well.

"He said 'look at me, I made it wit my family—as long as your brother believes in your dreams as much as you do, you’re going to make it.'" he said. "I asked ‘em about how his success feels, and he gave me the realest answer: 'Honestly I don't feel it yet cause I'm still workin’ hard and I haven't cried yet...this is something you cry for so obviously there's higher levels I have to reach.'"

Dun Deal, who produced the track, was on location in DR with both Quavo and Born.
