D.R.A.M. had arguably the hottest hip-hop song of 2016 with “Broccoli.” Now, the Virginia artist is teaming up with PETA to encourage fans to eat healthy foods, including, of course, broccoli.

In the promotional clip, which you can view above, D.R.A.M. brags to his friends about how much greenery he picked up from his new plug, the lil’ old white-haired lady from the Farmer’s Market. His squad is confused until they realize D.R.A.M. is talking about the healthy vegetable, broccoli, instead of actual marijuana.

“There’s nothing healthier than an abundance of greenery,” says PETA Senior Vice President Lisa Lange. “PETA hopes D.R.A.M. inspires people everywhere to start steaming up that broccoli—and that kale, chard, and spinach, too.”

PETA’s motto, in part, reads “animals are not ours to eat.” The organization also notes that vegan meals are free of saturated animal fat and cholesterol. PETA adds that eating vegan meals spares animals immense suffering, as well as lowers the world’s carbon footprint. Meanwhile, the meat industry is responsible for a staggering amount of greenhouse gas emissions.

D.R.A.M. joins Waka Flocka Flame, Kid Ink, RZA and Russell Simmons in teaming up with PETA to promote healthy eating.

In music-related news, the “Cha Cha” rapper recently joined forced with The Skins for the “Bury Me” music video. D.R.A.M. sings, “Well if you want me to dig your grave then baby grab my shovel/All the temptation leads to love making, you gon’ get yourself into trouble/And if you think I do you so bad, why do you do me so good/I’m so hypnotized when we intertwine, but let’s get this here understood.”

As aforementioned, you can check out the PETA promo above courtesy of YouTube.
