Sean Garrett decided to go with animation for his new music video. The singer brings his Lil Yachty-assisted "Look on Your Face" to life with the help of some emojis. Garrett and Lil Boat each get their own emoji in this creative visual, which you can watch above.

Lil Yachty's animated appearance is more light-hearted fun from the 2016 XXL Freshman. Despite Lil Boat's desire to keep it light, he's been involved in a lot of controversy this year. The Atlanta rapper just got dissed by J. Cole on the latter's "Everybody Dies," but the "Minnesota" artist seemed to take the slight in stride.

“It was cool,” he said. “I don’t listen to J. Cole. I definitely listened to it. It definitely flooded my shit. It was everywhere. He said ‘little.’ I’m not little. I mean my name has little in it but… it’s a lot of little rappers.”

Lil Yachty's music has also been criticized by multiple hip-hop legends. Brand Nubian's Lord Jamar was among the loudest critics, which sparked a response from Lil Boat during a recent interview with Ebro Darden.

“He was saying a nigga like me is destroying hip-hop," he said. "I want to know what makes you think that? Because the last time I checked, out of all the new school rappers, I’m the one pushing positivity, pushing no drugs, pushing no alcohol, doing Toys for Tots free shows, going to group homes and talking to the young men."

Although there's been lots of handwringing over Lil Yachty's place in hip-hop, he has managed to be incredibly successful. The young artist earned a Grammy nomination thanks to his guest appearance on D.R.A.M.'s hit single "Broccoli."
