Young Dro appears on The Breakfast Club for an interview and accuses fellow ATL rapper Spodee of snitching on him, which led to Dro's 35-day prison term for weapons charges.

Back in August, Dro was arrested at Georgia Southern University for several charges including possession of marijuana, possession of a controlled substance, possession of a weapon in a school safety zone, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. Dro was on stage when police conducted a probable cause search and found the gun, less than one ounce of weed, lean and other items. In the above interview, Dro says that the firearm belonged to Spodee, who denied any attachment to the gun.

According to Dro, he took the fall for Spodee, a once-friend and collaborator who is now estranged due to the incident. Young Dro says, “That was my partner, but I guess it wasn't for me. He turned the story around and was like, ‘They’re just saying the gun is mine because of who Dro is. It’s his gun. He has a record.’ We cuffed to the waist down, and I was trying to slide so I could headbutt him.”

Recently, Spodee responded to Young Dro's accusation. According to Spodee, he can't talk in detail because the case is open, but he says that Young Dro is trying to set him up. Throughout the Breakfast Club interview, Dro also discusses Lil Wayne's Black Lives Matter comments on ABC's Nightline. Dro said he "clenched in embarrassment" while watching Tunechi's interview, in which Wayne said he felt no connection to the BLM movement.
