Watch Kanye West’s Monologue About Loving Yourself During the Saint Pablo Tour

To the casual listener, Kanye West's stream-of-consciousness monologues might sound like the ramblings of a self-aggrandizing narcissist. But anyone who's followed Yeezy throughout his storied career knows that his "rants" are usually about the power of self-belief, and that he'll go through pretty big lengths to fight for what he believes in.

During a recent stop for his Saint Pablo tour, Kanye unleashed one more of his monologues, and like at least a few others, this one is all about self-love. You can check out the monologue at the top of this post.

In front of thousands, Yeezy explains to fans that we as humans need to "change the way we treat each other, and the way we talk about each other." Yeezy believes that making that change will begin with self-love, something he believes the media has made impossible. Pretty deep stuff Yeezy.

As we said before, Kanye isn't shy about his beliefs, especially when it comes to the ones about himself. He raps about using his ostensive arrogance as a shield in his College Dropout classic, "Last Call." The way he explains it on that song makes that idea hard to argue against.

"Now I could let these dream killers kill my self-esteem/Or use my arrogance as the steam to power my dreams," Yeezy raps on the song. "I use it as my gas, so they say that I'm gassed/But without it I'd be last, so I ought to laugh." We hear you 'Ye, we hear you.
