T.I. is one of dozens of MCs who have dropped socially conscious raps in 2016, in response to the slew of civilians being killed at the hands of the police. Today, he drops the video for his song "We Will Not" where he makes a stand for justice.

Tip released the audio for the track two weeks ago and follows up with the striking visual which was debuted exclusively on Tidal.

In the treatment, the Atlanta MC sits watching TV, which shows clips of various protests from all across the nation. As more clips play, the Kang gets visibly disturbed by what he is seeing, at one point having to take a drink. “No we will not stand here in silence/While they take the lives of our brothers and sisters and partna/We will not turn a blind eye to the murder with no repercussions/No we will not/We will not lives on our knees, we will die on our feet/This ain’t no lie that I speak/All you youngin’s out here in the streets only want to shoot people that look like you/You can stay home, you too weak,” he raps.

Many rappers have used their voice to make a statement about real issues that plague society in the past several months. The Game, Kendrick Lamar, Talib Kweli, Macklemore and Jay Z are just a few of the artists who have gone to action and used their voices to make a difference and sound off.
