Kid Cudi headlined Maryland's annual Trillectro Music Festival on Saturday (Aug. 27). During his set, Cudder premiered a brand new Pharrell-produced joint called "Magic," slated to appear on the former's upcoming album Passion, Pain and Demon Slayin.

"Magic" sounds catchy as hell and contains a ton of energy. During his set at Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia, Md., the man on the moon blessed the audience with his next potential hit, which contains an infectious horn pattern and smooth, rhythmic vocals. On the hook, Cudi sings, "I ain't riding no waves. I'm too busy making my own waves. I'm surfing on my own waves, baby." At another point, Cudder raps, "The industry's so full of shit."

On Aug. 15, the "Day N Nite" artist took to Twitter and announced that he was done making his new album(s). One of them is definitely called Passion, Pain and Demon Slayin. Could the other album he has in store for 2016 be the highly anticipated Man on the Moon 3? Fans will have to wait and see. His last album, Speeding Bullet to Heaven, was pretty polarizing.

ICYMI, check out some of Kid Cudi's more recent tracks, including the Mike Dean and Plain Pat-produced “The Frequency,” the Mike WiLL Made-It-produced “All In,” and the Dot Da Genius-produced “Goodbye.”

Cudi was recently asked for his thoughts on the fiasco between Jhene Aiko, Big Sean and Cudi's boy Dot Da Genius, but he chose to stay above it instead of getting involved.
