The hip-hop community is still mourning the death of A Tribe Called Quest's Phife Dawg and continue to pay tribute to the revered MC. Tomorrow (April 5), the world will get to hear a posthumous single from Phife produced by J Dilla. Titled "Nutshell," Smokin Needles Records released a teaser vid that features the likes of Talib Kweli, Jarobi White, Ras Kass, Greg Nice and more talking about the rapper. A few of Phife's bars from the track play before the clip fades to black. An accompanying full-length video will also be released tomorrow.

According to Smokin' Needles Records, a portion of the proceeds from the single will go to the American Diabetes Association and the National Kidney Foundation. Phife passed away due to complications from diabetes.

"Malik had always wanted to use his voice to raise awareness and formally educate young people about diabetes," said a press release. "We think this is the perfect way to honor him and contribute. This will be an ongoing relationship with these two great organizations."

"Nuthsell" was scheduled to appear on Phife's Give Thanks EP, one of two projects he planned on dropping in 2016. The late rapper spoke to Rolling Stone about the EP and how his health influenced the title.

“That’s exactly why I named [the EP Give Thanks]. Because at the end of the day, I have a lot to be thankful for and it could be really worse,” he said. “And that is another reason why it is ludicrous for [A Tribe Called Quest] not to be performing right now and smelling these roses why we’re still here. It’s just ridiculous, but you got to move on.”

Earlier today (April 4), "A Celebration of Phife" memorial was held for the rapper at St. Alban's Park in Queens, NY.
