XXL Freshman 2016 is coming and the freshman hopefuls are gearing up to possibly make this year’s class. With the 10th Spot voting happening now, we have to let the potentials tell us why they should appear on this year’s cover.

Up next is South side Chicago rapper, Montana Of 300. The 27-year-old MC has made quite the buzz online with his Fly Guy Entertainment record label. Gaining over millions of views on YouTube with his street bangers "Air Jordan" and "I Don't Like (Remix)," Montana's buzz has reached hip-hop's elite, with fellow Chicago rapper Kanye West praising the young up-and-comer. Watch above as Montana tells us why he should appear on the coveted XXL Freshman list.

The XXL Freshman 10th Spot will run for one week. This is where the public gets the chance to vote an artist into the XXL Freshman Class.
