While last night's NCAA Final Four game matchups between Villanova and Oklahoma, and North Carolina and Syracuse left much to be desired, Kendrick Lamar swooped in and stole the show.

Taking the stage as part of the NCAA March Madness Music Festival in Houston, K. Dot performed his untitled. unmasteredcut "Untitled 07" in front of the capacity crowd and had every person watching jumping in unison as he chanted, "Levitate, levitate, levitate." It was the first time he performed the track for a crowd and based on the response, it most definitely will not be the last.

Along with the performance, the Compton, CA MC joined the TBS crew on The Final Four Show before the games tipped off. Chopping it up with Ernie Johnson, Charles Barkley and Clark Kellogg, Kendrick cracked jokes with the crew about Barkley's "One Shining Moment" rendition, his skills as a baller and Johnson's participation in a cypher with Nicki Minaj. The conversation did briefly turn somewhat serious as Kendrick was asked about his song-making process and if there was ever a moment where he felt like he wouldn't make it.

"Getting my songs turned down at record labels and radio stations," he said. "Because I didn’t know the power of doing it myself, and doing it as a company with Top Dawg before we said, ‘You know what, let’s go independent.'”
