Thirty-one years after the release of "Rock the Bells" and LL Cool J is still hard as hell. The Queens native joined Dr. Dre's "The Pharmacy With Dr. Dre" show on Apple's Beats 1 Radio and laid down a few bars as the Good Doctor mans the board. Sounding as fresh as he did when he first burst on the scene in the '80s, LL hasn't lost a step when it comes to his flow and drops a bar that pays homage to his breakout hit "I Can't Live Without My Radio." The legendary MC joined the legendary producer's show back in Sept. 2015, but the footage of the session just surfaced this week. Check out the full episode via Apple Music.

LL has been adamant about his status as one of the greats throughout the month of March. On March 2, the MC took to Twitter to respond to a blog post that says "there's a whole generation of kids who'll never know that LL Cool J was a rapper, and a pretty good one at that.

"Please stop pretending that we all don't know [that] I'm one of the best to ever touch that mic," he tweeted. "I stepped away and let you breathe. I can cut off your air supply with one single. Don't test me...I don't care if you Google my net worth. It's more to it than that. I'm telling you on Twitter."

Perhaps the new fire lit under LL's ass means his long-awaited G.O.A.T. 2 album is coming soon.
