XXL Freshman 2016 is coming and the freshman hopefuls are gearing up to possibly make this year’s class. With the 10th Spot voting happening now, we have to let the potentials tell us why they should appear on this year’s cover.

D.R.A.M. is up next. The Virginia Beach native rose to prominence over the last year upon the release of his 2014 Cuban dance-inspired record “Cha Cha." The jig caught the attention of celebs like Snoop Dogg,Travi$ Scott and Beyoncé; all of which helped catapult the record to over 12 million views on YouTube. D.R.A.M. has also released two projects,  #1EPICsummer in 2014 and GAHDAMN! last fall. Watch above as he tells us why he should appear on the coveted XXL Freshman list.

The XXL Freshman 10th Spot will run for one week. This is where the public gets the chance to vote an artist into the XXL Freshman Class.
