Lil Wayne and 2 Chainz Perform “Rolls Royce Weather Everyday” on ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon’

Performing "Rolls Royce Weather Everyday" for the first time, Chainz and Tunechi brought energy to the stage as The Roots provided the backing track. With Tity Boi dressed in a Supreme hat and a Canadian tuxedo and Weezy in an oversized hoodie, high socks, Vans and platinum shorts, the duo made a statement with their music and wardrobe selection. Nearly a decade after Lil Wayne popped up on Playaz Circle's "Duffle Bag Boy" and helped the group, which included 2 Chainz, the rapper's relationship comes full circle with a joint project. Chainz announced ColleGrove while appearing on the RapRadar podcast. “I got ColleGrove that I’m working on, that’s the me and Wayne project. That’ll be out sooner than people think.”

The “I’m Different” rapper previewed music from the collaboration while hosting the 6th annual Street Execs Charity Concert in December. Chainz let go a back-and-forth track that features the two MCs representing for their respective hometowns.

“I’m from Georgia nigga, (I’m from Louisiana)/I got a bunch of pistols (I got a bunch of ammo)/I’m from Atlanta, Tony Montana/I done made a mil, Dabbin Santa” the two southern patriarchs rap on an untitled track.

The project does not have a release date as of press time, but the public performance should serve as a good sign that the rollout for ColleGrove will begin soon.
