Late in 2015 Lil B released a monstrous 63-track mixtape called Thugged Out, Pissed Offand though the title can give you a hint as to how Lil B sounds throughout most of the tape, it does have its somber moments - like on "Born Poor."

In the new video for the track, Lil B shows he's an ally to middle class workers across the country as he washes cars and mops the floor at Home Depot. "It's cool to be a doctor, it's cool to be a janitor," urges Brandon. The song has spontaneous bursts of wisdom, all of which center around the hook, where Lil B puts his situation quite bluntly - "you was born rich, I was born poor."

All of Lil B's videos contain a unique send-off, and here Based God gives followers some encouragement to follow their dreams: "Never give up on your dreams or talent, never give up on Lil B... You will have your time to shine, I love you."

Thugged Out, Pissed Off turned some heads after its release, as Lil B makes frequent reference to beating women throughout the project. It seems like an exercise in character, but some wondered why he'd go to such lengths to talk about abusing women in his music. Lil B has been open about his vulnerabilities and weaknesses in his past - like being transphobic - but has been mostly silent in the wake of the mixtape's release. And if you're wondering how Lil B enjoyed the Super Bowl, well...
