Run The Jewels will change your whole perception of cats in its video for "Meowpurrdy." As the Meow The Jewels track rings out, what looks like a bad hallucinogenic trip featuring cats plays across the screen. Cats with multiple heads, cats vomiting other cats, cats with lasers coming out of their eyes and exploding cats all make appearances in the Cyriak directed clip.

Killer Mike and El-P dropped Meow The Jewels in Sept. of 2015. The making of the album began as a joke turned into a legit project when RTJ fans crowdfunded the money needed to make it happen. Once producers like Just Blaze and The Alchemist got involved and promised to donate their craft to the album, it was a wrap.

Upon its release, the duo announced that they donated a large sum of the money to the families of Michael Brown, Jr. and Eric Garner, two black men who were killed by police.

"We are thrilled to announce that our donation to the families of Michael Brown, Jr and Eric Garner is now official," they wrote on the official Kickstarter page. "This took a bit of time but we were ultimately able to speak directly with both families so that we could ensure the money went exactly where they wanted it to. Thank you to the people at GOOD Magazine, Black Lives Matter, Erica Garner, Damon Turner and Benjamin Crump for helping us through the process. Both families are extremely thankful for your contributions. For us, this is the essential function of MTJ. Together we have pooled our resources and did something kind for people in need. We can’t thank all the donors/Kickstarter funders enough for making that happen."
