Where some new artists flood the market place with collection after collection of new music, hoping for something to stick, Wara From the NBHD has taken a more calculated approach. The Atlanta MC was pieced out his 2015 work carefully; it culminates early next month, with the release of If Guns Could Speak PSA. (The title hearkens back to the EP he dropped this January, which helped to further establish his national profile.) Now he drops the new project's first video, "Bubblin," which continues to play off his favored American flag imagery. Wara again tries to blur the line between different realms of hip-hop, namely the Atlanta of his childhood and his native Brooklyn. "I came up under my brother who was into like Raekwon, Wu-Tang and all them," he previously told XXL. "Nas was big during that time. It wasn’t until I came to Atlanta, because I’m from Brooklyn, that’s when I was exposed to more like Ludacris and like Outkast, the big heavy-hitters like Jermaine Dupri in Atlanta."
