After "Try Me" went from popular to inescapable last year, DeJ Loaf wasted no time in showing people she was far from a novelty. From the other standout tracks on Sell Sole, it was clear that the Detroit rapper was a disarmingly plainspoken writer and was mining her uniquely thin voice for every bit of personality and menace it could muster. When the 2015 XXL Freshman returned this year with #AndSeeThatsTheThingit helped to further flesh out her R&B credentials, setting her up to be a genuine double threat by the time her retail debut rolls around. Today (Oct. 5), she revisits that EP, dropping the video to the Big Sean-assisted "Back Up." Loaf and co. hit a Detroit roller rink to exhibit some impressive footwork. The more famous Motor City native shows up as well, albeit in street shoes.
