Chris Brown has been under intense scrutiny lately, as he has often been for the past half-decade. In recent weeks, he scored a major victory in court--when a Houston judge awarded him joint custody of his daughter, Royalty--but has also found himself the subject of an assault investigation. (According to the latter complaint, Brown or members of his entourage broke a woman's phone while physically throwing her off of Brown's tour bus after a music video shoot in Colorado.) Today (Sept. 22), the singer hopes to bring something familiar to the foreground: his music. Brown has dropped a double-feature video for "Liquor" and "Zero," both songs off his forthcoming Royalty, the album named after the same daughter he'll now have 180 days a year. The self-directed clips catch his dance moves at their sharpest, as Brown flits through Los Angeles and gives laundromat patrons an unexpected show.
