Raury is one of the 10 Freshmen on XXL‘s 2015 Freshman list revealed Wed., June 3. All this month we’ve been providing you with a behind-the-scenes look at the selection process, the photo shoot and the work it takes to pull it all together. Earlier this week, we kicked off the reveal of the freestyles and interviews that we captured at the shoot, starting with Fetty Wap, DeJ Loaf and Vince Staples. Next up is Raury, whose #XXLFreshmen freestyle and profile you can check out here.

Not long after his song "God's Whisper" took over the internet last spring, Raury was opening for one of the greatest duo's of all time, OutKast, in their hometown of Atlanta. The success of that track and his "Cigarette Song" was followed by the release of his debut project, Indigo Child, and by August he had inked a deal with Columbia Records.
