Fetty Wap is one of the 10 MCs on XXL‘s 2015 Freshman list revealed Wed., June 3. All this month we’re providing you with a behind-the-scenes look at the selection process, the photo shoot and the work it takes to pull it all together. Today (June 15), we kick off the reveal of the freestyles and interviews with each individual Freshman that we captured at the shoot. Starting things off with Fetty Wap, we now present his #XXLFreshmen freestyle and profile.

After building an extensive following off of his "Trap Queen" single, Fetty inked a deal with 300 Ent. in the fall of 2014. Now following the success of "My Way," which got a high-profile remix from Drake, and his latest single "679," the Paterson, New Jersey native is now prepping the release of his debut album, on the way this fall.
