XXL Freshmen 2015 is coming and the freshman hopefuls are gearing up to possibly make this year’s class. With the 10 Spot voting just around the corner, we had to let the potentials tell us why they should appear on this year’s cover.

Our 3rd pitch is from the Conglomerate signee, O.T. Genasis. The rapper had his first taste of stardom in October when his "CoCo" song went viral. Now at over 104 million views on YouTube,  O.T. has garnered quite the following. Prior to penning a deal with Busta Rhymes' label, the Long Beach native actually inked a deal with G-Unit Records in 2011, following the release of his "Jackie Chan" record. O.T. parted ways with the imprint shortly after signing. Presently, the 27-year-old is prepping to unleash a mass of material in 2015 and has already unveiled a "CoCo" remix featuring Meek Mill and Jeezy . " Oh man, definitely drop a project, man, " says OT on the remainder of the year. "Fourteen, fifteen songs, drop a full project, give these people something... And yeah, man, I'm just ready to live a different life. A more happy one," O.T. told XXL. Watch above as he tells us why he should appear on the coveted XXL Freshmen list.

The XXL Freshmen 10 Spot will run from March 16 to March 22. This is where the public gets the chance to vote an artist into XXL Freshmen Class.
