XXL Freshmen 2015 is coming and the freshman hopefuls are gearing up to possibly make this year’s class. With the10th Spot voting happening now, we have to let the potentials tell us why they should appear on this year’s cover.

The 6th pitch, Bishop Nehru. At just 16-years-old in 2013, the now 18-year-old unveiled his debut mixtape, Nehruvia, produced by DJ Premier, J Dilla, Madlib, MF DOOM and others. Several months later, he released strictlyFLOWz, and signed to Nas' Mass Appeal Records in May of 2014. Following the deal, Nehru put out two efforts: the BrILLiant Youth EP alongside Dizzy Wright and NehruvianDOOM, a collaboration with hip-hop legend MF DOOM. In October 2014, it was announced that Nas would be taking on the role of executive producer for Bishop's upcoming solo album. The XXL Freshmen 10th Spot will run from March 16 to March 22. This is where the public gets the chance to vote an artist into XXL Freshmen Class.
