XXL Freshmen 2015: Alex Wiley Pitch [Video]

XXL Freshmen 2015 is coming and the freshman hopefuls are gearing up to possibly make this year’s class. With the 10th Spot voting happening now, we have to let the potentials tell us why they should appear on this year’s cover.

Chicago rapper, Alex Wiley has been on the music scene for awhile now. He's known for his affiliations with Chance The Rapper and other local windy city artists. In 2013, he released his debut project, Club Wiley, establishing him as a candid MC. The distinct approach brought upon positive regard and lead to the unleashing of his follow up effort, Village Party. This project established him as a possible force to be reckoned within hip-hop, as he undoubtedly carved a niche of his own. In early March, he released the One Singular Flame Emoji EP for free, including tracks like "Sexual Dolphin." Alex is said to be prepping Generous Dubsacks, a follow up to 2014's Village Party. Watch above as he tells us why he should appear on the coveted XXL Freshmen list.

The XXL Freshmen 10th Spot will run from March 16 to March 22. This is where the public gets the chance to vote an artist into XXL Freshmen Class.
