Niggas in the south didn’t like New York rappers back in the day, because even the shittiest New York rappers got airplay and video rotation over the hottest Southern artists.

The only Southern rappers you heard on the radio back in the early 90′s were niggas that made dance music like 95 South and the 69 Boys.

It seems like real Southern artists didn’t even begin to gain respect until Outkast won a Source Award in 95.

I’m from the midwest and I used to think it was fucked up that UGK couldn’t get a video played on BET but yet so many weak NY niggas could. NY’s “Golden Age” was like the “Dark Age” for everybody else. I liked some NY shit, but I hated most of it.

As for the eyecandy, yup, she’s fine as hell.
