I've seen Ruby rock a dope live set, her lyricism n consistent flow is very different. We need more female emcees to rise out the Bay Area and i feel she's well on her way. Props to another fellow Filipino too.

I hope she gets to see this...
aight, she's nice. She wouldn't be on the website if she wasn't. So...the first verse on the "mad izm" track was good but honestly I almost went to check out another artist because she didn't grab my attention out the gate with something like the second verse on that same song. So I'm saying that the second verse was FIRE...but...she could have split that up and tagged part of it onto the first verse then went to the hook and blended it into the the second verse, which would've really been the middle of the original second verse, so that it would mesh better and give it a cohesive sound. Not that you don't know what you're doing...just an idea(no sarcasm intended). Also the "dosey doe" track is decent and I'm giving you props because many people are too embarassed to show their heart is hip hop. They'd rather stick to what the public is listening to right now... so I like that aspect of it...but...I'd rather you have not done that hook yourself...maybe a man on the hook(and knock them out when they realize your a girl), or even the auto tune and scratch it up all lil'... and I appreciate the heart of the song but right now I think that you're WAY TOO ADVANCED to be making songs like this, REALLY. The song with Jin (your verses are hot, nice vocab and at parts your flow is right on) is a step in the right direction. Definitely. Not because you have Jin on it or whatever other reason you could possibly think of...simply because, I feel, you sound more like you're being yourself. Even when you were spittin that quad ontop of quad syllable shit (might've of been five) you sound like "BITCH I DO THIS" and that fighter in you came out. On the other songs, it sounds like you felt like you had to "make a song" not just spit your shit and say what you have on your mind. Think about Eminem. He just says what he says. He doesn't ever really "make a song". like "my name is" could be interpreted as a "let's get high" flow with a simple ass commercialized hook that blew the fuck up. So I'm just encouraging you to keep doing what you're doing but don't feel like you have to "make a song" just flow and find a good hook for it. Kanye said it right "Cuz when you try hard, that's when you die hard"
