Even the man behind the brand, Michael Jordan, has said that the AJ3 is his favorite sneaker, but now with the brand announcing the halt production on the shoe, many sneakerheads are scrambling around trying to find the last 3's available at major retailers or consignment stores.

Hip hop artists have been very vocal about the iconic sneaker in the past, and even some have professed their love for the Air Jordan 3 through their music. The shoe which became famous by Jordan in 1988 when he wore it during the NBA Dunk Competition has been released in several colorways throughout the time, but the fan favorites have always been the white/red/cement and the black/red/cement.
