I’m younger than Fest and I consider myself an old head in today’s “new school” climate. I say that simply because the game is a shell of what it was. Dudes like Fest take it back to the shit we grew up on which was 80′s and 90′s hip-hop. His style pays homage to that era and I applaud homie for that. include the face that these young heads in my hood call me Old School because of the way I view today’s hip-hop culture. Me and Fest is old school, so fall back.

I mentioned Salt-N-Pepper instead of JJ cause he SAMPLED Salt-N-Pepper’s vocals! And me commenting on dude looking old was just me having fun with my writing, na’mean. I didn’t think I went on and on about how he looks like you feel I might’ve, I just made ONE comment. I guess he must be your favorite rapper. I love the music but I don’t let it rule my world like you might, don’t get it twisted.

You took that whole Dahmer comment to a level I wasn’t even trying to take it. That whole homosexual shit was on you. I mentioned Charles because Fest was DISSIN’ Charles AND Fest mentioned Asher Roth in the same line! And for the record, I’ma CH fan, but if he got dissed on a record then i’ma tell it how it is. If I touched a nerve with you then that means I done did my job. But don’t paint it like i’m dissing someone when i’m obviously giving him props.

^JDA-> You were right which makes this hacks opinion completely irrelevant, since he cant even take a second to double check a song on google. Plus any hip hop “journalist” who’s worth his weight in gold should have no problem recalling that song. Its not like JJ Fad were a “fad”, that song was super popular from the radio to roller skating rinks, and was a MONSTER hit a year or so ago when Will i am sampled it and basicly created a career for Fergie. Also considering the fact that the song has been in the news as recently as 3-4 weeks ago, when one of the producers and former NWA member Egyptian lover filled a lawsuit for royalties or some other matter, MAKES HIS MISTAKE EVEN WORSE.

He decided to critique another mans looks heavily before even mentioning anything about his music. I remember that mix tape with Michael Jackson samples, I thought it was fucking hillarious. Pretty creative too, having MJ host your mix tape.

Then the “hack ” makes a reference to Jeffrey Dahmer and fest “going in”, on the young man. Trying to connect Jeffrey Dahmers homosexual behavior with his victims prior to killing and mutilating them to Fest. What that has to do with an album review, I dont know…

Since the hack writters at XXL have a vested interest in seeing “hip hop clonage and homosexuality” succeed as in (Charles Hamilton and AsherEM Roth), whats a XXL article without mentioning one of these two guys. But this hack finds a way to mention both of them !

Fest is fucking 31, stop with “old head” label. I’m sure he grew up on Easy E, NWA, Dre Dre, The 90′s Bad Boy Era, Rockafella era throw some New Jack Swing, and maybe Nirvana for good measures. Stop acting like he’s worshiping 80′s hip hop, he was a young kid when half that shit came out and probably discovered most of it as he got older like most of us 77,78,79,80,81 babies did.

As for charles hamilton ( he’s dope) but I’m glad to hear Fest went after him..that lil stunt at the college Ham man pulled was straight disrespectful..and as said in the opening lines of the article Fest handed it to him that night as well..
