Tha Row had the game on LOCK!! Nothing, I mean NOTHING could come close to messing with them. Bad Boy did they thing, The Wu was banging heads too, but Row was putting out classic after classic after fcukn classic from 91 thru 97! After Pac was murdered, Snoop left and Suge hit the Pen, it was a wrap. Those were the days.

Deathrow started it all, from Bad Boy to Cash Money, they all fell in line and followed the leaders. Deathrow was the Mo-Town records of the 90′s and could have had the rap industry totally alive today, instead its just like xxl say, everything sounds just alike and your favorite MC’s don’t drop until they hear somebody elses shit…but back to Deathrow, I think from 1991 to 1997, they sold more records than any other hip hop label and easily had the best sound.

***Yes, Death Row is Hip-Hop royalty. . .but in 2009, that’s like speaking of Staxx Records.

Suge has eaten off Tupac down to the last crumb. . .and the rest only had one good album each (if they were that lucky). With that said, how can you anticipate this 16 years after their downfall like you haven’t already downloaded what you want?

I have two different Death Row Greatest Hits albums and I was still stoked to see this mixtape. This was the era that I really grew up on (age 12 – 16) and Dre, Snoop, Pac and DPG were my favorites. Hot tape.
