Now as for the album, a few ‘Def Jam’ songs should have been left off. But Jay-Z and Co. forced Meth to put those track on, so ’4Ever’ and ‘Let’s Ride’ stay. But RZA’s beat are tight. They don’t knock you down, but ’420′ is hot. Meth just ride RZA’s beat and they make sense. ‘Problem” and ‘Somebody Done F***ed Up’ are straight up Wu-bangers. ‘Presidental MC’ is the Wu cut we need. This is a hot album, and you jealous south niggas need to stop hating on NY. Ya’ll ain’t the only ones with hot shit

There was never no doubt Meth had the lyrical skills, it has always been the poor choice in production. “Is it Me?”, “Gotta Have It”, “Fall Out”, “Say”, “Ya Mean”, “Everything” and “Walk On” are the best produced tracks on the album. Running up is “Problem”, Somebody Done…”, “Dirty Mef” and I’ll go on and say “4:20″ (this was just aiight from the RZA). The tracks produced by RZA were the less melodic and inviting beats on the album and don’t really compete with real bangin’ and head nodding production. Now look, RZA has produced some nice music, just not lately. And those who know Hip-Hop’s history know what is really bangin’, even if it varies.

I felt that this album brought back more of the orginal Tical feeling by getting “back the to basics” so to speak. The day after brought back features like Carlton Fisk and the usual Wu Tang members, where as the Prequel had more Canadian features such as Sacratees and Kardinal Offical. This gave me the warm fuzzy feeling that I used to get when I’d buy a new Wu album and bump it for the first time. I just fear that it’s gonna be under-rated by the typical public due to tha fact that they usually wanna hear mainstream hip hop and this is far from it.
