Laugh Now, Cry Later should desreve a XL review instead of a L review. It lets people know that he could still rap and he didn’t go hollywood. He is the father of gangsta rap. Get this album and let me know if I’m wrong or right. This is his best album since Amerikka’s Most Wanted and Death Certificate. ICE CUBE MUTHAFUCKAS!!!!!!!!!!

Wow, you guys on this site seriously don’t listen to anything that’s not played on MTV, do you? This album isn’t a classic, by any means, but it was a decent album from a legend. An L rating is pretty harsh, but I wouldn’t have gone any higher than XL.

It pains me how little most of the readers on this site know about hip-hop – or the english language, for that matter – however.

This album actually had some good production. Ice Cubes lyrics are really garbage sometimes though. He had some really good songs, but then he had some really baaad songs or songs that he didn’t elaborate on enough. I think he had alot to say, but he didn’t straighten out his thoughts clearly so he ended up forcing shit and it came out sounding garbage. Overall, if you from the west coast or like west coast hip hop, this album is a must listen.

“go to church” w/ lil jon & snoop is one of the best tracks of the album and probably lil jon’s hottest produced track this year along with “snap ya fingers.” The beat is dope, the lyrics are fire, Cube is tearin shit up. “why we thugs” is dope too. and people…its Cube…cop this shit right now.

XXL yall triiiipppin “laugh now cry later” is one of CUBES FINEST CDS the shit takes you back to Americas Most the title track reminds me of once upon a time in the ghetto, and i was litterally stuck on the budda produced “smoke some weed”, then he smacks you with “child support” I swear I was listening to thoughs songs for 2 days straight and dont even talk about the lil john produce “stop snitchin”. I am from Los Angeles and have been a Westcoast Supporter from the get go and I am tellin yall this cd contains social commentary. brass ball lyrics, and some bangin ass beats. Then he is lettin 50 and game know how stupid they really are lil bad ass kids. Basically this cd deserves and XL atleast and you could have gave it and XXL and felt good about yourself and your job “all you rap bastards tryin to make classics keep yo dumb ass out of a casket”. The minute i heard the whole cd i got on my chirp and started hittin everybody I know thank god that the gangsta back anyway XXL get it right that cd is way better than a Large especially when it is coming from a region that has been pretty quiet except for game and E-40 next up Too Short, and The Drs.Advocate I think the my coast is about to come back strong with a bunch of 40 year old ni99az puttin these young cats over they knee and spankin they bad asses.
