I've Been rapping since: I heard Reflection Eternal for the first time... I think I was 10-years-old.

My style and/or skills have been compared to: One of the important things about my music is the effort I put into being honest both personally and artistically. I do truly think that I have found my own sound but with that said, I've heard comparisons from Wiz Khalifa to Lupe Fiasco. It's crazy the things people throw out, but dope to be mentioned alongside those names.

My standout records and/or moments have been: My album Yours Truly charting on Billboard and reaching No. 1 on the iTunes US Hip-Hop charts. After spending three years putting my life into that album and to have it be received the way it was has to be one of the most affirming points of my career thus far. I make the music that gets me through, and to have so many other people relate is a reminder of why I do what I do.

I’m gonna change the game by: Winning a Grammy and receiving a PhD in the same year!

I’d Like to Work With: Prince, Stevie Wonder, Kanye West, Frank Ocean, and Kendrick Lamar (in no particular order after Prince).

My goal in hip-hop is: To enjoy longevity, always evolve, and to tour internationally until either my legs or ears stop working. I also hope to be remembered as more than just a rap artist when it is all said and done.
