Breakout: "Something 2 Believe"

Also Check: "Hometown"

And: "4.0"

Name: The Incomparable Shakespeare

Age: My industry age or the age on my birth certificate? Hmmmm... I'm younger than Yeezy, but older than Wiz. Does that constitute as an answer?

Reppin’: Flatbush, Brooklyn and kids with ambition everywhere

My style and/or skills have been compared to: Mozart meets Humphrey Bogart. I'm like Slick Rick if he had an infatuation with all things Ralph Lauren minus the eye patch. If Jay-Z and Lauryn Hill had a love child, it would sound like me.

My standout records and/or moments have been: "Hometown." I feel its a "beautiful" song in a genre that doesn't typically produce beautiful music. Plus the video created opportunities for me. Viacom hedging their bets on the video and putting it in rotation despite the sample not being cleared was a pretty big deal in my opinion. As far as moments, I think my appearances on RapFix were memorable because they were validating. Between Rick Ross and MMG showing love or simply watching and hearing everyone's reactions during my verse in the year end cipher, it was all amazing. I swear Jim Jones was about to spit out champagne during certain lines. Sway, Maino, and Consequence showed a crazy amount of love afterwards, and it genuinely meant a lot.

I’m gonna change the game by: Making music people will define their lives to. Don't get me wrong, there's great music out right now, but a lot of it is fluff. Its cool to sing along to and dance to, but it often comes at the expense of being meaningful or relevant. The goal is making music that does all 3; makes you sing, dance, and touches your spirit. I want the 4th grader to hear one of my songs and decide they want to pursue Hip-Hop as a career. I want the college student to hear "4.0" and really relate to it. I want to meet the young couple that will say "Leading Lady" defined their relationship. I'm making music that serves as the soundtrack to people's lives. I'm putting heart and feeling back in the music.

I’d Like to Work With: Raphael Saadiq, Mark Ronson, Salaam Remi, Nicki Minaj, Dave Grohl, Timbaland, Beres Hammond, Kanye, Black Thought, Weezer, and too many other to mention...honestly

My goal in hip-hop is: To be the hybrid. I'm gunning to be the artist that lives at the top of the charts, but is also revered as the best in my craft. Another goal is to give the art form some credibility because I'm a firm believer that most people don't fully understand how brilliant some of our writers are. They don't see the skill or technique that goes into an ill 16 beyond how it sounds. They never peep the compound rhyme schemes, the alliteration, or transitional thoughts that make up a dope verse or song. I want to transcend the genre. The true goal is to become huge enough that I can steer the direction of the culture and have a meaningful impact.

I’m gonna be the next: I'm not the next anything, but the first Incomparable Shakespeare. BOOM!
