My style or skills have been compared to: I haven't heard too many people that I've been compared to, but I've been influenced by an array of different artists from Bob Marley to Buju Banton to Jay-Z to Kanye West.

I started rapping: I've always been a singer since I was young, and I started writing for people in 2003

My standout records or moments have been: I started a production team with Sak Pase, and we've producer for a lot of people, and wrote and produced Rihanna's “Man Down.” I got my first record deal as an artist in 2009 with Interscope, and released my single “Buy You A Round” around that time. I then signed to Akon and his brother Bu earlier this year. My single with Kelly Rowland called “Boo Thang” is out now and getting radio play.

I'm gonna change the game by: Bringing my own unique flavor of Island B, by fusing many styles of music.

I'd like to work with: I'd like to work with T.I., 50 Cent, Nicki Minaj, Drake—a lot of different people.

My goal in hip-hop is: To make great music and make an impact.
