My style and/or skills have been compared to: My style and skills have always been compared to Drake and Lil’ Wayne. But I have my own style, which will soon be heard with my new mixtape being released mid-2011.
I started rapping: I started Rapping at the age of 11 when I realized it didn’t take much to hear a beat and just make up rhyming words. The problem was to make sure that everything I spit made sense. Over the course of six years, I’ve had battles, practice, got every album from Jay-Z’s Reasonable Doubt to Lil Wayne’s Tha Carter III and focused on recognizing thing from catchy hooks to witty punchlines. I knew I loved what they did and started this adventure I would never forget.
My standout records and/or moments have been: December 12, 2010 was the day I say my life went from being a normal kid to becoming an internet sensation in a matter of two weeks. My video landed a spot on Worldstar. After being posted, the video blew up, collecting over 100,000 views in one week, spreading to every single site known
to mankind. The video ended up getting over 3 million views and to this day I am blessed by the success of that video of me imitating Lil Wayne, Drake, Ludacris and Eminem. After that I have been working 11 hours a day in the studio to get this new mixtape ready for my fans out there. My first mixtape, Whoisvers, was more of a CD with random tracks thrown on it. This new CD will be a marking point in my career. I’m Putting so much effort and work into this just to make sure my fans know that I am not going anywhere anytime soon.
I’m gonna change the game by: Showing the world that being smart is not a bad thing. I’m a Rrole model to thousands of kids and I would never want people to stop reaching for their dreams. I’m going to be this kid that went from an online video to the next Jay-Z. Nobody can stop me besides myself.
My goal in hip-hop is: People usually want to be millionaires or become this super celebrity that cameras follow all around. My goal? I want to be on everybody’s iPod, MP3 player, Zune. Anything you use to hear music, I want to be on that. I will make Vers’ a household name.
I’d like to work with: I would love to work with Lil Twist from Young Money and Chris Brown. I love being in the studio with another artist and learning from their creative vibes because not everybody thinks the same way and it’s always good to learn from others who enjoy and love it like I do.
I’m gonna be the next: Jay-Z! Being a mogul and a businessman is my desire in this game. I don’t want to worry about the man signing my checks because I’m going to be the one signing my own checks and having others ask me for things.
