Here's another reminder not to sleep on Marqus Clae. The Houston native dropped a freestyle over 21 Savage's "Bank Account" on Tuesday (July 31) that jumpstarts the year-old hit.

For the occasion, Clae turns on a double-time flow that jams 21 and Metro Boomin's beat with internally rhyming stunts. He delivers his verse in the video from the top of a rooftop with a Bentley Continental Flying Spur by his side.

"Fuck up a bag in a minute, I've never been timid, I want the blue hunnids and fifties/They made us sit in the back of the bus, so now I'ma sit in the back of the Bentley/Push a button and a bad guy can hear me/I was quiet but I'm back out to getcha/You can't even get a laugh out of nigga/I'm not even trying to dap up a nigga," he opens.

"Bank Account" originally appeared on Savage's 2017 album, Issa Album, and would go on to become the rapper's highest-charting hit at the time. That record held until 21's appearance on Post Malone's chart-topping song "Rockstar." Lil Wayne and Joyner Lucas have also offered notable takes on the track.

Clae is currently signed to Master P's No Limit Forever and has received co-signs from the likes of Yo Gotti. He logged a prolific 2017 that saw the release of three mixtapes including Clae Chronicles and P.T.S.D. He doesn't stick to music, either. Clae also acts, appearing in 2017's Fox series Shots Fired and this year's Marvel series Cloak & Dagger on ABC.
