In promotion of his forthcoming album, East Atlanta Love Letter, Georgia musician 6lack stopped by Sway's Universe and reminded fans he's not just a Grammy-nominated R&B singer.

Known for rapping prior to his rebranding, Sway challenged 6lack to freestyle over a song of his choice. As soon as the beat drops, the "Switch" crooner immediately recognizes it as Travis Scott's "Coffee Bean" off of Astroworld. 6lack wastes no time, delivering a smooth, cunning intro.

"Look, I say don't mention my name if ain't love attached/This exercise, man, I love to rap/It only take a couple bars for me to warm up, show up, show out/All over the place like a Nicki M. rollout," he delivers. The Minaj mention is a friendly slight which references her promotion tactics since releasing her latest effort, Queen.

Shortly after the video premiered online, 6lack delivered an extended version on his Twitter account, which you can view below. The "Nonchalant" artist, who name-drops Insecure creator Issa Rae on the track, is currently preparing to go on tour with They., Boogie, Tierra Whack and Summer Walker. There's currently no set release date for East Atlanta Love Letter.
