Caleb Brown is back. Today (July 20), the Baton Rouge, La. product unleashes his Brown EP, a five-track collection of tunes that showcase the granite-toned stylings of the talented young rapper.

Executive-produced by Sonny Digital, the new EP was always going to slap no matter who rapped on the hardbody beats. With that said, Brown makes the EP his own as he unloads versatile flows and some gripping autobiographical detail. On "Die a Legend," which is the first track on the new project, Brown recalls his humble beginnings.

"I ain't have shit in my pocket/Ain't always have food in my belly," he spits on the track. "Stuck in the bricks with a stick/Shit was just feeling like hell."

Supporting his new project, Brown has also dropped a trippy new video for "American Bulldozer," a standout tune from his new EP. In the video, Brown rides threw a field as all of the action surrounding his activities is captured by a cheap VHS camera.

Brown represents this young artist's latest attempt to leave his mark on the world. Speaking with XXL for The Break last fall, Brown revealed his altruistic plans for his career as a rapper.

“To touch as many souls as possible," he said. "A lot of people jump into it to be famous, and I feel like I should have that attitude but I don’t, because I don’t really care about that type of title. I care about being the people’s person, the people’s champ at the end of the day. If I can touch a 4-year-old’s soul, you know, touch his heart or whatever, that’s all I need, know what I’m sayin’?"
