Yung Bans is gunning for a summer anthem with his new single, "Ridin," featuring YBN Nahmir and Landon Cube. The Atlanta rapper shared the song in the form of a Cole Bennett-directed video on Tuesday (June 26).

The clip opens with the trio dazed in a beach house, attempting to remember a specific musical idea, apparently lost to the smoke. Cube, lounging on a couch, starts to strum a melody on a six-string ukulele that sparks their memory, and they take to the sand to rap about chasing green, getting high and gripping their pistols.

The star here is Yung Bans' hook, which he delivers here in a wetsuit while carrying a surfboard."Ridin' with that 40/Ridin' with that 40 with a beam/Dollar signs all I see/If it ain't about the money, I ain't worried 'bout it/If it ain't about the money," Bans croaks.

The song comes from the "Lonely" rapper's forthcoming project, Yung Bans Vol. 5. Bans recently shared the cover art and tracklist, but unfortunately there's still no release date. It will be his first full-length since a string of high-profile collaborations over the last few months, including a feature with Future on the Superfly soundtrack. Last week, Bans also dropped an XXXTentacion tribute titled "So Long My Friend."

Nahmir is enjoying a rapid ascent of his own, reflected in his appearance on the 2018 XXL Freshman List. In an interview for the issue, the Alabama native reflected on the keys to his success. "I know how to show myself to people. I know how to give them the right amount of me," he told XXL. "Not too much, not too less, you feel me."
