Two months after buying himself out of a record deal with Cash Money, Money Man is back with new music. The "Boss Up" rapper dropped a sequel to his February mixtape 6 Hours this past weekend. The new installment is titled 6 Hours 2.

The tape, officially released on June 17, features 13 new solo cuts from Money Man, who declines to offer any space on the tracks to guests. The production credits aren't yet available, but the sound is straight post-Future Atlanta, driven by the rapper's commitment to melodic robotics.

He finds a particularly catchy pocket on "Exotic," whose month-and-a-half old video has already tallied over 3 million views. Over plucked strings drenched in reverb, Money Man uses fellow rappers' names to color in drug-dealing exploits.

"Bus it like the Migos/Used to trap out a Regal/I’m fly like a seagull/We just stick it like needle/CPM me a condo/Cashin' out of them car notes/Swervin' watching for potholes/All this weed I’m a Narco/Sellin' bags of gelato/Bitch I’m Hoodrich like Pablo/I got weed in my 'lago," he raps.

The tape is Money Man's first since earning his release in April from a recording contract with Cash Money signed last February. At the time, the Secret Society rapper explained on social media that he personally paid his way out of the deal.

"JUST BOUGHT MY SELF OUT MY CONTRACT WITH CASH MONEY RECORDS. MY MUSIC WILL BE BACK ON STREAMING PLATFORMS SOON," he wrote.
