Your Old Droog is back in his bag, dropping his latest banger "Live From NYC (Freestyle)" on Monday (April 23).

As the title implies, the Brooklyn rapper keeps it New York City to the core on the new record, rapping over a classic boom-bap loop, which is assisted by whiny chords and a mean guitar riff.

"I'm here to make a dollar out of 15 cents/And let my balls hang, robbins just a small thing," he spits. "On bad days there's mad ways to get my revenue up/But don't let them think you nice or they just revving you up/For y'all to die its 6 million ways/You little Droogs still in the building phase/I'm holding down the one seed in the Eastern Conference/Barb wire bars pierce the ears of anybody on the fence."

It is unclear if this will be attached to an upcoming project or serve as a loosie for the BK rhymer.

It's been a while since people were confusing Droog with Nas back in 2014. He continues to stake his claim as one of the dopest rhymers on the Big Apple rap scene. 2017 was a busy year for the MC who put out his sophomore album Packs, which featured work from Danny Brown, The Alchemist, 88 Keys, RTNC and Chris Crack. He also dropped the What Happened to Fire? project with Wiki.

He already started 2018 on a high note having put out the EP Looseys in January, which featured Joey Bada$$, Styles P and Rast Rfc.
