Fans are still on the edges of their seats as they await the arrival of Rae Sremmurd's forthcoming SR3MM album, but they're tiding fans over with a new single featuring Travis Scott. The dynamic duo teams up with the Houston rapper for their new collaboration, "Close," which features the group and Scott delivering new vocals over a grim beat.

The track, which is produced by Mike Will Made-It, starts off with La Flame offering up a catchy flow as he spits some flexing bars over the somber instrumental.

"One rope in the chain, yeah, lightin' propane, yeah/Dousin' the flame, yeah, bounce for some change, yeah." he raps. "Gang can't be tamed, yeah, ice in our veins, yeah/Somethin' feels strange, this cup is dangerous."

Swae Lee comes in on the first verse to provide some of his signature vocals, where he shares his skepticism about being around negative energy.

"It's not my fault that I don't wanna end up screwed (screwed)/And everything I'm tryna say, you beat me to it," he croons. "And all the ups and all the downs, we have been through it/Now you're C-L-O-S-E."

Slim Jxmmi doesn't hold back on his verse, delivering some vicious bars, questioning those around who might not have the best intentions for him.

"You know I'm a dog and I can't control it/Wanna settle some debt but not at the moment," he spits. "I'ma stack up the cake like Obama told me/Niggas smile in your face and they're not your homie."

"Close" is packed with ad-libs from both the fellas of Rae Sremmurd and Travis Scott, and comes straight off of the anticipated SR3MM album on the way. Previously, fans have received other singles from Swae Lee and Slim Jxmmi including "Powerglide," "Chanel," "Guatemala" and other loose tracks that could potentially be on the project.
