Rich Homie Quan Brags About His Blessings on New Song “Understood”

In just one week, Rich Homie Quan will drop his long-awaited debut album, Rich As In Spirit, but before he shares the full project, the rapper releases his latest single, "Understood."

Produced by Nard & B, "Understood" finds Rich Homie Quan showcasing his signature melodic flow as he calls out his haters and brags about his riches. "Now I got these diamonds on my chain tunnel vision on my brain/I'm just focused/Hundred dollars to my name in the trap making plays/I just sold ya/And with this shit I play no games ride the beat like I'm insane I need a chauffeur," he raps.

Set to release on March 16, Quan's Rich As In Spirit will feature 19 songs and just one guest appearance from Rick Ross on the track "Think About It." The debut album will also include the previously released songs "34," "Changed" and "Bossman."

While Rich Homie was riding high off the success of "Lifestyle" and "Flex (Ooh, Ooh, Ooh)" in 2014 and 2015, times have been a little tougher for the rapper as of late. In May 2017, the rapper was charged with felony weed possession, after he was arrested on suspicion of weapons and drug possession.

Fortunately for the rapper, he hasn't run into any trouble since then as he gears up for his upcoming album.
