After teasing a new track and then sharing a preview, Iggy Azalea has finally released her long-awaited single, "Savior" featuring Quavo.

Made for dance floors with it's tropical-inspired house beat, "Savior" finds Iggy and Quavo singing and rapping about finding someone to save them. "Countin' down every moment/That I wait for ya, I wait for ya/I wonder if you even notice/Lately, I've been feelin' hopeless/Easy to lose focus, but I'll wait for ya," Iggy raps during the bridge.

Quavo quickly follows Iggy, showing off his vocals as he croons, "I've been looking for a savior (hey)/I've been looking for a real one to hold on to (hey)/I've been looking for a savior, savior, yeah, to save me."

But while "Savior" appears to be about a man or woman needing someone else to save them, the Australian rapper revealed the track is actually about saving yourself.

"It is not a record about you needing a man or a woman to come and save you in a relationship," she said in a video posted to Twitter. "It’s about you being your own savior and finding your own strength within yourself to figure it the fuck out. It’s a really hard record for me to have written and I think it’s going to be one I really struggle to perform, too, just ‘cause I’ll probably wanna cry every single time."

Following the release of "Savior," Iggy drops a lyric video for the song. Listen to the new song and watch Iggy do her thing in the lyric video below.
