Following a successful 2017 that saw Nessly link up with Lil Yachty, Zaytoven and more, the Atlanta rapper is back for 2018 with his latest single, "Back 2 Life."

Produced by Take A Daytrip, "Back 2 Life" finds the Atlanta artist spitting over a frantic beat with buzzing 808s. "Niggas who do the most do the least/You say you copped it but I know it's a lease/I peep how she think she want what's in my bank and in my briefs/I covered a face of a Cover Girl and I whiten her teeth," he raps.

The song will be featured on Nessly's highly-anticipated debut project, Wildflower. Set to release on Feb. 28, the record will be his first project since signing to Republic Records in July. Wildflower will be co-produced entirely by Nessly and hip-hop powerhouse TM88, and will feature guest appearances from Blackbear and AJ Tracey.

After signing his deal with Republic, Nessly spoke to XXL. "As the underdog, [people] keep their fingers crossed that you remain underground, they are afraid of you gaining a platform where you can shine," he said. "There was no rush for me to sign. After meeting after meeting, I was searching for a home team, one where I know we'll make every shot and take home the trophy. I never came in with the intention to remain small and I wanted to make sure I partnered with the most focused and driven team."

The rapper also gave praise to Republic, saying that the label sees his vision. "Republic understands my plan to push a stronger sound and elevate into an every day name without a gimmick," he said. "Longevity is at the top of my list and this is the initial step."
